About the Opportunity
As a Software Asset Management Analyst, you will support NSW Health to maximise value from its software investments across a complex health environment. You will help reduce risk and strengthen licence compliance by supporting effective software asset management practices and working closely with key stakeholders.

 

Your work will contribute to meaningful cost efficiencies and improved governance across the health system. Through analysing software usage and identifying optimisation opportunities, you will support informed decision-making and ensure software assets are managed sustainably and effectively.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Analyse software assets and licensing data to support effective software asset management practices and compliance.
  • Determine accurate licence positions using software asset management tools, contracts and vendor agreements, and support remediation where required.
  • Administer NSW Health software licensing portals, ensuring accurate data, sound governance and effective reporting.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues and support internal and external software audits.

     

     


About You
We are looking for someone who:

  • Extensive experience in Software Licensing and are ready to step up and apply your knowledge and expertise to a Software Asset Management analyst role
  • In-depth knowledge of lifecycle management, software terms, license agreements and contracts
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to pivot and manage changing priorities in a large and busy environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills. With the confidence to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
