About this role

In this role, you’ll be developing and supporting the implementation of best practice policies, programs, projects, and activities for the Ministry of Health, public health organisations, and related government agencies and provide policy advice to support the achievement of NSW Health’s objectives in relation to grants administration.
Crown Clerk 9/10, starting salary from $129,464 - $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
- Managing and undertaking policy and program development to address current and emerging issues in relation to health system purchasing and grants administration.
- Providing advice and support to System Purchasing branch, senior executives, Ministry of Health and staff across the NSW Health Service to consistently interpret and apply policies and practices in relation to health system purchasing and grants administration.
- Preparing high quality written advice in the form of reports, briefs, policy, discussion papers, or circulars to inform, respond to requests, or initiate consideration of new policy initiatives.
- Leading and participating in quantitative and qualitative research to address policy issues and inform policy development in grants administration matters.
