Join the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District as a Senior Podiatrist (Level 3) and manage clients in our high-performing Podiatry Service. You'll deliver expert care to a complex caseload of high-risk clients - including those with diabetes, vascular conditions, and limb complications - while helping shape the future of podiatry across the District.
In this senior role, you’ll work autonomously, mentor junior staff and students, coordinate innovative clinical services, and drive quality improvement projects. A little about us.
As a part of the new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project, a new Community Health Centre is being built on the old Port Kembla Hospital site. The Warrawong Community Health Centre will bring together a range of services including community mental health, drug and alcohol, community nursing, and child and family services.
Until the new Community Centre is complete, some allied health services will continue to operate out of the Port Kembla Hospital site.

- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and post-graduate experience in the management of high risk foot pathology (including ulceration, infection, neuro-arthropathy, and post-amputation management)
This is a temporary parental leave relief position until 2 May 2027 with the possibility of an extension at same or reduced hours. Location is Diabetes Service Wollongong, although this may be negotiable.
