Senior Oral Health Therapist

1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
2. Full registration the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as and Oral health Therapist and a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy.
3. Demonstrated high level of knowledge and understanding of clinical practices across all areas of the scope of practice for Oral Health Therapists.
4. Proven ability to exercise independent professional judgement when required to solve problems and manage complex cases.
5. Demonstrated ability in providing clinical guidance, mentoring, supervision, professional judgement and policy advice.
6. Ability to work in collaborative and referral relationships with dental and other health practitioners.
7. Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice and participation in ongoing quality improvement activities.
8. Current valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel and work across Northern Sydney Local Health District dental clinics.
