About the Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Project Management Office (PMO) will lead the establishment and management of a centralised PMO to support NSW Ambulance Executive Projects. The PMO will introduce and maintain standardised project management and change practices, ensure compliance with project management methodologies, and align project objectives with the strategic goals of the organization.The PMO will ensure consistent and effective governance to maximise successful delivery of outcomes and benefits and provide performance reporting to Executives to provide line of sight to progress, risks, and issues. The PMO will partner with the organisation to provide project management and change leadership, to enable the organisation to deliver maximum value through their Executive Projects.

About You

Highly developed expertise in project assurance, risk management, and benefits realisation, with the ability to establish and mature PMO frameworks that drive strategic alignment, transparency, and measurable outcomes in complex, high-pressure environments.

You have a proven capability to lead multidisciplinary teams, influence senior stakeholders, and embed a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making across large-scale health or emergency service operations.

Conditions

  • No NSW Ambulance accommodation is provided.
  • Employee’s currently undertaking an Extended Care Paramedic or Intensive Care Paramedic consolidation periods are eligible to apply however will need to complete all training and return of service obligations before accepting any relief/acting opportunities.
  • Employee’s currently undertaking a Special Operations Team (SOT) consolidation period are not eligible to apply for positions other than SOT positions. This includes positions offered via merit selection, transfer lists or later transfer mechanism, expressions of interest or secondments.
