Prince of Wales Hospital is a major teaching hospital and tertiary referral centre, delivering high-quality healthcare to communities in South Eastern Sydney and specialist services across New South Wales.

The Role
 
The Senior Manager, Internal Audit & Corruption Prevention will assist the Internal Audit Team to design and deliver quality performance audits within defined time-frames and budget, culminating in published reports providing independent assurance to ensure delivery of an integrated and effective service, and reports to the Director Internal Audit. 
  
In this role, you will manage an audit portfolio of Hospitals and Health Services in SESLHD, delivering on the core internal audit activities in the Internal Audit Plan while ensuring effective management of the audit function.  You will manage and conduct complex and sensitive compliance, performance/operational audits; fraud and prevention strategies, special projects and investigations, independent and objective advice and information on control, including risk and governance issues in order to contribute to the effective operation of the Local Health District.
