About this role
As Senior Governance and Risk Officer you will bring your expertise to:
• Lead, coordinate, and report on the Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) internal audit program.
• Facilitate the implementation, maturity and continuous improvement of the HPCA’s enterprise risk management framework and processes.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures relating to internal audit, governance and risk, ensuring compliance and alignment with best-practice standards.
• Give advice, educate and make recommendations on governance, internal audit and risk management to support informed decision making and strengthen risk and audit culture across the organisation.
• Prepare high quality written reports, briefs and discussion papers, and maintain accurate records.
• Act as a key liaison point for stakeholders involved in the HPCA’s governance audit and enterprise risk functions.
Crown Clerk 9/10, salary from $129,464 - $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading

About you

• demonstrated experience in leading and supporting audit and risk programs.
• strong communication, project management and time management skills.
• the ability to work in a small, dynamic team environment.
