Join the Team
As a Senior Engineer – Desktop Virtualisation at eHealth NSW, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering modern, scalable virtual desktop solutions. You’ll lead the design and development of platform architecture, drive roadmap-aligned initiatives, and ensure the seamless build, deployment, and ongoing operation of critical systems that support healthcare teams across NSW.
In this role, you will:
- Drive delivery of roadmap initiatives by prioritising design decisions, managing risks, and aligning outcomes to architecture standards and business needs.
- Lead agile development ceremonies to refine, size, and deliver user stories, ensuring clear documentation and visibility of progress.
- Deliver migration, implementation, and transformation activities aligned to platform and technology roadmaps.
- Optimise system design by identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve interoperability and performance.
- Ensure platform reliability and security by enforcing coding standards, driving automation, and proactively managing operational risks.

About You
You’ll be someone who
- Bring extensive experience designing, building, and operating enterprise applications within complex shared services environments, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Apply modern ICT delivery and operational practices (DevOps), with hands-on experience in Agile methodologies.
- Deliver proven outcomes in implementing enterprise-scale solutions that drive business value.
