We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Trials Manager to provide high-level leadership and operational oversight of clinical trials within Medical Oncology. This role is ideal for an experienced manager or a clinical trials professional looking to expand their leadership portfolio in a short-term or developmental capacity.

You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
The Medical Oncology Clinical Trial Manager (HM Level 3) position effectively and efficiently manages clinical trials ethics and RGO submissions in an ever increasing, dynamic research unit within the Medical Oncology Department at CRGH. The position will co-ordinate clinical research as part of single-centre and multi-centre studies. The Medical Oncology Clinical Trial Manager will train other study coordinators in the ethico-legal challenges of setting up and performing both Investigator Initiated and Sponsored research studies. The position will help promote the Medical Oncology research unit at a state, national and international level, as a site for clinical trials. The position will foster local participation in research to produce evidence based practice across multidisciplinary fields

Ideal Candidate
- Appropriate tertiary qualification or demonstrated relevant equivalent professional experience in the Health Service environment or other related system as deemed appropriate.
- Experience in clinical research with a significant component of experience in clinical trial procedures.
Knowledge of, or experience with, clinical trial start-up and regulatory governance is highly desirable.
