Where you'll be working
This position is situated at Manning Hospital Taree in the beautiful Manning Valley in very close proximity to idyllic beaches and scenic bushland. Taree is less than 2 hours north of Newcastle and 4 hours from Sydney and is surrounded by small beachside towns.
Manning Hospital is a 202-bed hospital with a wide range of specialty areas. As the successful applicant you will provide service to a broad range of case mix over all areas. You will work within a dynamic team of clinical dietitians who are dedicated to providing evidence based best practice, are highly respected and motivated to continuing professional development and keen to share their expertise with others.
What you'll be doing
- Delivering a high-quality, patient-centred clinical service to patients and their families/carers, ensuring the best possible health outcomes across the service.
Applying evidence-based practice to assess, plan, and deliver care, while managing a broad range of clinical issues including therapeutic interventions, health promotion initiatives, patient and carer education, and participation in research activities.
Managing competing priorities effectively in environments that may be professionally and emotionally demanding, while maintaining safe, compassionate, and timely care.
Demonstrating strong clinical judgement and organisational skills to balance workload demands and service requirements.
Maintaining a clear professional identity and perspective, ensuring care delivery aligns with clinical standards, organisational policies, and ethical practice.

Requirements
- Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
