What you'll be doing
You will play a critical frontline role in maintaining safety, security and emergency response within the hospital environment.
· Monitor, assess and respond to security incidents and safety risks
· Provide professional, customer-focused service to staff and the public
· Operate CCTV, access control systems, alarms and security equipment
· Respond to emergencies including duress, fire and critical incidents
· Collaborate with internal teams, police and emergency services to manage risk

Essential Criteria:
· License: Class 1A Licence as issued under the Security Industry Act 1997
· Qualification: Certificate II in Security Guarding and current First Aid Certificate
Selection Criteria:
1. NSW Driver Licence with excellent driving record (full or provisional class C)
2. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
3. Demonstrated ability to manage and de-escalate difficult situations
4. Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
5. Demonstrated experience with electronic security systems such as access control and building management systems, CCTV monitoring, data entry, and radio communications
6. Ability to adapt and learn emerging security and IT systems
7. Experience in a customer service role, ideally involving access or traffic monitoring
