You will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, contractors and visitors while supporting frontline healthcare services.

What you'll be doing
As a Security Officer, you will deliver professional security services to protect people, property and assets across the hospital environment. You will respond to incidents, manage risks and provide exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents including duress alarms, fire responses, helipad retrievals and emergency situations
• Monitor and operate CCTV, access control systems and security equipment
• Conduct risk assessments and proactively identify and manage security risks
• Build positive relationships with staff, patients, visitors and external emergency services
• Maintain accurate reporting and documentation while contributing to service improvements

Essential Criteria
License: Class 1A Licence as issued under the Security Industry Act 1997
Qualification: Certificate II in Security Guarding and current First Aid Certificate
Selection Criteria
NSW Driver Licence with excellent driving record (full or provisional class C).
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage difficult situations
Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn current and emerging security and IT systems
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in working in customer service role particularly dealing with traffic monitoring
