What you'll be doing
The Revenue Support Officer is responsible for providing administrative support to the local inpatient and outpatient business process for the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network to raise awareness and maximise revenue opportunities. This position is required to provide cashier support daily to ensure an efficient and accurate service. The Children’s Hospital at Westmead together with the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick forms the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN).

- Knowledge and/or experience in Medicare and Health Fund rules related to patient billing in public hospitals
- Demonstrated ability to perform administrative task with attention to detail in a demanding workload
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet daily and monthly deadlines
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively, with minimal supervision in a team environment with all levels of staff
- Experience in customer service skills with a focused and responsive approach to managing customer enquiries
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Applications.
