Registered Nurse – Same Day Day of Surgery Unit

Our Same Day Day of Surgery Unit will be relocating to the new John Hunter North building in September - offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and evolving service.

This is a dynamic role suited to a Registered Nurse who enjoys variety and working in a high-turnover setting:

  • Prepare patients for a range of surgical and medical procedures
  • Provide care and support through to same-day discharge
  • Work in a fast-paced unit with new patients every day
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team
  • Contribute to a strong team-based culture


Operation 

  • Our unit is open Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 8:30pm
  • Weekend shifts available for acute hand surgery as required
