Where you’ll be working
F2 is a 32-bed medical ward at John Hunter Hospital, specialising in respiratory medicine, immunology, infectious disease, rheumatology, and dermatology. The ward also provides care for patients requiring non-invasive ventilation and high-flow oxygen, giving you the opportunity to develop skills across both medical and surgical fields. The team is dynamic, supportive, and driven by a focus on excellence in patient outcomes, patient experience, and professional development. Teamwork is at the heart of F2, and you’ll be supported in every aspect of your role.

 


 

About the role
As a Registered Nurse on F2, you will provide safe, high-quality nursing care across a range of medical specialties. This role will allow you to expand your clinical knowledge while working with complex and diverse patient presentations. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contribute to patient care planning and discharge, and deliver evidence-based care that aligns with national standards. Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
