What We’re Looking For
As a Registered Nurse at Lakeview, you’ll support patients throughout their withdrawal and recovery journey, providing safe, individualised and evidence-based care.
Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you’ll:
- Complete clinical assessments, care planning and patient observations.
- Provide withdrawal management and medication administration.
- Support case management and care coordination.
- Build trusting therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Use motivational interviewing and brief interventions to support recovery.
- Recognise and respond to changing clinical needs.

About you
Are you a compassionate, resilient and motivated Registered Nurse who builds trust and engages with patients in a calm, respectful and non-judgemental way.
You’ll bring strong communication skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Previous drug and alcohol experience is not essential—we’re looking for nurses who are passionate about developing their skills and making a positive difference
Essential criteria
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
