Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. Nestled within the grounds of the Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital in Katoomba, the 15bed Blue Mountains Mental Health Unit (BMMHU) offers compassionate, trauma informed, and recovery focused psychiatric care. The team delivers flexible and innovative models of support designed to meet the complex needs of adults living with mental illness, helping prevent relapse, strengthen independence, and enhance community participation. With a strong commitment to collaboration, the BMMHU works closely with individuals, their families, and carers to create a safe, empowering environment where recovery can truly take shape.

We’re seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional mental health care and ensuring every consumer, their family and their carers experience the best possible outcomes. In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment where your voice matters and your clinical judgement is valued. You’ll work closely with consumers and their support networks, contributing to the planning, delivery and evaluation of care that is both person‑centered and grounded in best practice.
