The Maitland Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2022, built to meet the growing needs of communities across Maitland, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Muswellbrook, Dungog and Raymond Terrace. As one of the largest hospitals in the Hunter Valley, we offer a wide range of services including surgical, maternity, paediatrics, rehabilitation, mental health, renal care, coronary care, and a 24-hour Emergency Department.

About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and passionate Registered Nurse to join our 4A POD unit within the Maternity area at Maitland Hospital. You’ll be part of a small, supportive team caring for female surgical and medical patients across a 5-bed medical/surgical pod and a 5-bed surgical pod.
In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver comprehensive care to patients
- Administer medications and ensure accurate clinical documentation
- Coordinate patient discharges and referral pathways
- Collaborate with a dedicated nursing team
You'll be supported every step of the way with a comprehensive orientation, mandatory face-to-face education, and access to online learning to help you grow your confidence and skills.
