Belmont Hospital Radiology is a friendly, collaborative, and rapidly expanding unit delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to the local community. This is an exciting time to join our department, with the upcoming replacement of our CT scanner and expansion of our mobile aged care imaging service. This temporary opportunity offers strong potential for permanency and is ideal for a Radiographer looking to grow within a dynamic and future-focused environment.

About the Role
As a Radiographer Level 2, you will provide high-quality imaging services across general X-ray, CT, and theatre settings. You will also play a key role in delivering mobile imaging services to aged care facilities, supporting improved access to care in the community.
You will:

  • Perform high-quality general X-ray and CT examinations
  • Deliver safe, patient-centred care with a focus on comfort and communication
  • Participate in mobile aged care imaging services
  • Collaborate with radiologists, ED, nursing, and allied health teams
  • Support workflow coordination and imaging decision-making
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and a positive team culture

About You
You are a motivated Radiographer who is passionate about delivering high-quality imaging services and patient-centred care. You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and bring a proactive, team-oriented approach to your work.
Essential:

  • Experience in general X-ray and CT imaging
  • Strong patient care and communication skills, particularly when working with older adults
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
  • A team-focused mindset with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to prioritise workload and adapt in a dynamic clinical environment
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Enthusiasm to contribute to a growing and future-focused department

Developable on the Job:

  • Knowledge of Belmont Radiology workflows and systems
  • Experience within mobile aged care imaging services
  • Familiarity with new CT scanner technology and advanced imaging protocols
  • Involvement in departmental projects, accreditation processes, and quality improvement initiatives
