Prince of Wales Hospital is a leading healthcare institutions located in Sydney, renowned for their commitment to excellence in patient care and medical innovation. The Prince of Wales Hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services, including advanced treatments in general medicine, surgery, and critical care. Our Pharmacy Team plays a vital role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and evidence-based medication therapy as part of their holistic care. SESLHD Pharmacy Services is an extended hours service and our team is operational seven days per-week.
The Role
The Project Support Officer will participate as a project team member to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and delivery of the project solution that will build upon the existing clinical or corporate systems.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management and/or equivalent work experience and contemporary knowledge of financial, human resources or business management for the effective delivery of related projects.
- Coordinate all aspects of project development and implementation (including project planning, monitoring and evaluation and reporting) both individually and on a team basis.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and influencing skills with a strong customer service approach with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to make complex judgements, show initiative, and provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to assist in the development of policy and processes in accordance with approved guidelines.
- Demonstrated high level of proficiency in computer skills including the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, spreadsheets, data base applications and demonstrated capacity to learn and implement new software, electronic systems.
- Demonstrated experience in change management including the development and delivery of training and development initiatives for staff.
