What you'll be doing
The position of Senior Project Manager exists within the Digital Health Service of the Northern Sydney (NS) and Central Coast (CC) Local Health Districts (LHDs). This position services all sites within these two LHDs and will require travel across all facilities.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of large-scale Digital Health projects within agreed timeframes, budget, quality, and resource parameters to achieve organisational objectives. The role oversees and manages the full project lifecycle, including human resources, communications, risk management, and procurement, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and vision.
The Senior Project Manager is accountable for delivering projects in accordance with established PMO methodologies and sound architectural principles, ensuring timely delivery of outcomes within approved budgets and quality standards.

- Tertiary qualifications in health sciences, advanced project management or equivalent experience in a complex health facility.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive project plans, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and aligned with organisational objectives, PMO methodology, and sound architectural principles.
- Demonstrated high-level problem-solving skills and related experience, with capacity to successfully develop, monitor and reach predicted outcomes to strategic and business plans.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or collaboratively in a project team environment within a complex organisation influencing others to move toward a common vision or goal.
- Advanced interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to influence and engage a diverse range of stakeholders, individually and in multidisciplinary groups.
- Demonstrated excellent leadership and delegation skills with the ability to take initiative and make complex judgements.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, particularly in reporting, public presentation.
