About The Opportunity
Are you ready to lead transformative healthcare projects that make a real impact? SWSLHD is recruiting three experienced Project Managers to deliver high-profile clinical application and hospital redevelopment initiatives. These roles are pivotal in integrating digital health solutions into clinical environments while ensuring operational excellence.

You will oversee end-to-end project delivery—from strategic planning to implementation—across clinical, infrastructure, and corporate domains. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including IT, clinical, redevelopment, and administrative staff, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with clinical requirements and safety standards.

These roles also contribute to strategy development and execution, supporting continuous improvement and the adoption of contemporary technologies such as AI, automation, and cybersecurity enhancements to improve healthcare delivery and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical application and hospital redevelopment projects across SWSLHD hospitals.
  • Manage infrastructure-related workstreams, including networking, cloud computing, end user computing, etc.
  • Oversee integration of cybersecurity considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Develop and manage strategic project plans, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to align project scope with clinical and operational needs.
  • Implement risk and change management strategies to navigate complex challenges.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure clear communication and sustained support.
  • Monitor project performance and report progress to executive leadership.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, optimising methodologies and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to deliver on project outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re seeking candidates who bring:

  • Extensive experience in managing complex healthcare projects, ideally within hospital or clinical settings.
  • Formal project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) or equivalent experience in a large public health organisation.
  • Strong Agile experience, including the use of contemporary tools such as Jira and ServiceNow to manage workflows and enhance team collaboration.
  • Experience managing infrastructure as part of project delivery, examples include networking, cloud computing, and exposure to cybersecurity management within project delivery contexts.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills across clinical, technical, and redevelopment domains.
  • Advanced planning and analytical abilities, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, including coordinating external partners to ensure timely and quality delivery of project components.
