About the role

We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join the Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence to contribute to population health and broader public health objectives. The Project Manager will support the procurement and commissioning of services relating to population level monitoring.  
 

Crown Clerk 9/10 starting salary from $129,464 - $142,665 plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location- 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards.

What you'll be doing 

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of projects, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope in line with established agency project management methodology.

  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are met. 

  • Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes. 

  • Work closely with the project team, ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key project/s milestones and outcomes. 

  • Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and to support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project and priorities.  
     

About you  

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health-related discipline or equivalent work experience with demonstrated project management experience preferably within data and analytics landscape in Population and Public Health domain and a record of achievement. 

  • Demonstrated experience with sourcing strategies, including but not limited to procurement processes, grants management or development of cross-Government memoranda of understanding, or the ability to rapidly develop that expertise. 

  • A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
