About the role
eApproval is an online application which enables the end-to-end document management and workflow solution of all briefs, Ministerials and correspondence. The application enables NSW Health’s vision for a digitally enabled workplace with streamlined management of approvals.
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to support the Program Director in all aspects of ICT/digital project, program and portfolio management. The role works within the Digital Workplace & Information Management and provides leadership and guidance to the program management team.

What you’ll be doing
- Provide leadership and direction to project team/s to successfully deliver all key milestones and outcomes of the project and ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performance-based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer-focussed work culture.
- Lead and manage the planning and delivery of ICT/digital projects, including all aspects of the project management lifecycle (e.g. business cases, project plans, identification and allocation of resources, budgets, communication and reporting) to ensure successful and quality project deliverables.
- Develop strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures.
- Manage and develop stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management, whilst fostering and sustaining strategic partnerships across teams, Directorates and the wider Health agencies as well as relevant external agencies and vendors.
- Provide expert advice about the feasibility and suitability of proposed solutions to optimise business performance.
- Manage project teams, ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver all key project/s milestones and outcomes.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Extensive experience and a proven record of achievement in Program/Project Management, in a large complex organisation implementing large information system projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large and diverse multifunctional teams, including the ability to drive.
- High achieving, outcomes focused individual, with a reputation for the delivery of high-quality artefacts and embedding certified methodologies setting programs up for success.
- Experience in managing a vendor and building relationships to influence priorities to implement system enhancements.
- Experience in leading statewide program across NSW Health is preferred.
