Digital Health & Innovation (DH&I) is seeking a temporary full time (TFT) Product Analyst within our Clinical Applications team!

About the Role

Sydney Local Health District uses technology to deliver clinical services, conduct world class research and teaching, and manage the organisation. Our clinicians, researchers and support staff are continually exploring new ways to use digital to improve the services we provide to patients and their families. 

The Product Analyst will be a key resource in SLHD's Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) preparation activities. Responsibilities may include baselining and other SDPR preparation activities which may be required during the transformation period. The position may also be required to work within existing SLHD Clinical Information Systems. 

Our ideal candidate will have a relevant clinical background, and within their application (selection criteria responses, CV or cover letter) be able to demonstrate an understanding of and experience with clinical care processes and work practices within a large health care organisation (such as emergency, inpatient, outpatient, operating theatre, clinical specialty services and/or community health services). 

There may be a requirement to work from time to time at other Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) facilities.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience and a record of achievement working within a product management lifecycle in a large and complex clinical ICT service environment, including relevant bachelor’s degree in ICT or Management or equivalent experience. 
• Experience in the design, configuration and deployment of digital health systems. 
• Organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and changing professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer-focused approach. 
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate and influence key stakeholders and customers, make decisions with the input of leaders, technical teams and key stakeholders, and the ability to mediate opposing viewpoints, articulate the advantages of standards in a technical environment to achieve optimal business outcomes.
