Procurement Compliance Manager

About the role
The Procurement Compliance Manager reviews, audits and advises on the alignment of purchases within the Local Health District (LHD) with relevant procurement policies and best practice. The role provides essential support and guidance to buyers to ensure their needs are met while maintaining compliance with policy and the probity principles.

On a day-to-day basis the position will work with clinicians, vendors and colleagues within the LHD to ensure purchasing processes achieve a cost-effective and 'best fit' outcome for support staff, patients and clinicians.

This role is in a very dynamic space with increased focus on procurement within Healthcare and involved in significant reform projects. This role requires an analytical eye, competency building skills as well as the ability to actively juggle multiple competing stakeholder priorities.

Continuous education and development is essential for this role and is strongly supported by the leadership team.

Working with a team passionate about finding innovative solutions to meet the needs of our organisation while providing high quality support to our stakeholders.
