Our District Contracts and Procurement team is seeking to engage a Procurement Business Manager. The successful incumbent will lead, advise, guide, and actively manage the day to day procurement processes across the district. This will involve reviewing, implementing, and monitoring of State and Local Contracts for goods and services across all disciples.

Key to your success is active engagement with stakeholders, both internally and externally, in order for business objectives of the LHD can be achieve through best procurement practices.

What you will bring to the role

  1. Extensive clinical experience in a health environment and/or extensive procurement management role within the health environment
  2. Demonstrated high level knowledge and experience of clinical products, clinical equipment and their application within the clinical environment
  3. Demonstrated experience with procurement of non clinical items that support the clinical outcomes within the health environment
  4. Demonstrated capacity to deliver financially sound, efficient services within financial constraints and within budget
  5. Demonstrated ability to identify, resolve critical and complex priorities within a health care environment
  6. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills and the ability to use computer software programs including word and excel
  7. Demonstrated sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  8. Demonstrated ability to undertake special projects within set time frames
