About the Opportunity
As a Principal Business Analyst within the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital healthcare in NSW. In this role, you will work across different applications and with various teams within SDPR and the LHDs leading business analysis for various workflows and functional requirements. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to identify innovative opportunities, deliver design and architectural artefacts, future state workflow proposals and other deliverables in alignment with SDPR Solution and Integration architectures and roadmap.
This is your chance to make a meaningful difference in a customer-centric organisation that values collaboration, openness, respect, and empowerment. If you're passionate about improving business performance and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you will:
- Lead business analysis activities across the Single Digital Patient Record program, owning the review of complex workflows and requirements and proposing solutions after learning the capabilities and limitations of the applications and products.
- Work closely with multiple Application Teams and achieve alignment. Be hands on with configuration and testing when needed to assist the application teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across NSW Health to define critical business requirements and deliver integrated, patient-centred digital solutions.
- Provide expert advice on the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, operational needs and SDPR architecture.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- You have direct and extensive, hands-on experience leading business analysis of EMR applications and workflows.
- You have demonstrated experience in analysing the workflows in the EMR context, documenting functional requirements and explaining to the application teams, guiding and validating the outcome and documenting the future state workflows and architecture
- You excel at stakeholder engagement, with strong ability to listen, facilitate, influence, negotiate, and build strong collaborative relationships.
- You bring a strategic mindset with a deep interest in learning multiple solutions.
- You communicate effectively, lead with integrity, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
You will succeed in this role if you:
- Enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same.
- Are motivated by tight deadlines and problem solving on the go.
- Can juggle multiple priorities while staying calm and outcome focused.
- Thrive when collaborating with others to deliver results in a fast-moving space.
