Achieve Something Great
Aboriginal Got It! is a pioneering early intervention mental health program that supports the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal children aged 3 to 9 years in preschool and primary school settings. Grounded in cultural integrity, the program brings together Aboriginal traditional healing practices and ways of being with evidence based clinical approaches to provide truly holistic care. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver a 10 week therapeutic group program for Aboriginal children and their extended families, alongside culturally responsive case management. You will also work closely with schools to strengthen their capacity to identify and support children’s emotional needs, helping to foster safer, more inclusive learning environments. Based within Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (ICAMHS), you will join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals and Aboriginal community knowledge holders, working together to create culturally safe spaces where healing, connection and growth remain central. This is an opportunity to be part of an award winning team recognised with a NSW Health Award for Excellence in Aboriginal Healthcare.
