This is a unique opportunity to join a team to engage with the mental health community – consumers, families and carers, local health districts and specialty health networks, other government agencies, and the non-government and community managed sector – on areas including:
- Wellbeing and crisis support.
- Collaborative commissioning and grant management.
- Rural mental health partnerships.
- Disaster recovery.
- Engagement with peak bodies for consumers, carers and community managed organisations.
Crown Clerk 7/8, starting salary from $113,574 - $125,720 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.

What you'll be doing
- Developing partnerships with peak bodies and community managed organisations in the mental health sector.
- Managing grants and programs, including program design, approval, implementation, evaluation and review.
- Contributing to the development of mental health policy and projects, in order to achieve Ministry and government objectives.
- Writing briefs, discussion papers, circulars, communication plans, media releases, policies and reports to senior executives and Ministers.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of policy advice and analysis in a complex and multi-disciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of mental health issues including the application of the legislation and policies.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and /or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience
