Remuneration: $76,364.00 - $89,232.00 / $95,131.00 - $108,943.00 per annum  
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing 
You will deliver best‑practice podiatric assessment and treatment to patients presenting with complex foot wounds, ensuring safe, high‑quality care within an interdisciplinary framework.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing comprehensive assessment and management of patients with complex needs and foot wounds

  • Applying skills in gait analysis, offloading, Total Contact Casting and orthotic prescription

  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation, data collection and communication with external care providers

  • Contributing to research, audits and service improvement initiatives supporting the strategic direction of the clinic

  • Participating in ongoing professional development, mandatory training and WHS compliance

Essential Requirements

  • Registration: Current registration with AHPRA

 

Selection Criteria

Demonstrated knowledge in the treatment and management of patients; who may be distressed, presenting with foot wounds according to establish best practice guidelines

  1. Willingness to participate in ongoing education and promotion of the Foot Wound Clinic, Westmead Hospital

  2. Knowledge and compliance of OH&S and Infection Control policies and legislation and willingness to participate in continuous Quality Improvement activities

  3. Knowledge in the prescription and application of orthotic therapy and offloading modalities

  4. Experience or knowledge of computerised gait analysis, orthotic therapy and offloading modalities edit remove

  5. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within an interdisciplinary team

  6. Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients

  7. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
