Are you a qualified plumber looking for a new challenge? Work in a role that makes a difference to healthcare within your community. Wagga Wagga Health Service is looking for an experienced Plumber to join our dedicated Maintenance team. In this role you will support essential services across the site, ensuring our facilities are safe and operational for all who depend on them.

 Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, alterations, repair work of plant & equipment and installations.
• Ensure all plumbing systems are safe and operational
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address any issues promptly
• Adhere to safety regulations and hospital standards with a focus on patient and staff safety
• There will be times that you are required to be on call, you may receive the odd call out however this requirement attracts extra allowances.

Experience Required

• Successful completion of Apprenticeship and/or NSW Trades Certificate in Plumbing/Gas Fitter.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.

About the Health Service

Wagga Wagga Health Service provides services including critical care, medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric, and rehabilitation care. The facility also provides mental health and community health services. A team of specialists support the service which include cardiovascular, gastroenterology, renal medicine, obstetrics, orthopaedics, psychiatry and paediatrics.

There is also the provision of a full range of allied health and support services such as oral health, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sexual health and violence prevention and response services.
