What you'll be doing
Responsible to the Pharmacy Clinical Leads for the provision of specialist clinical pharmacy services to the Cardiology Unit at Westmead Hospital and ensure the safe, appropriate and cost–effective use of medicines.

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g. Bachelor of Pharmacy. Must satisfy Grade 2 classification as per Health Employees Pharmacists (State) Award.
Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
- Demonstrated experience in clinical hospital pharmacy practice in cardiology or equivalent extensive clinical experience.
- Demonstrated excellent therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise a high level of initiative in the application of pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to effect practice change.
- Excellent time management with attention to detail.
