What you'll be doing
To provide assistance and support to the Allied Health (AH) team in the delivery of an efficient and high quality service to patients and clients of WSLHD, under the supervision of the treating AH professional.

Essential Criteria:
Qualifications: Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance/relevant qualification or currently enrolled in training for a Certificate IV in AHA or relevant qualification.
Selection Criteria:
Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance/relevant qualification or currently enrolled in training for a Certificate IV in AHA or relevant qualification.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated previous experience working in a health environment.
Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing member of the allied health team.
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload delegated by supervising AHP's, meet deadlines and complete activities within scope of practice, seeking assistance as required.
Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles and how it applies to the duties of the position.
Demonstrated ability to work within a healthcare service or professional care giving capacity, in a positive manner enhancing the client's ability to achieve positive outcomes and personal goals.
