About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and independent Oral Health Therapist to join us in this newly created role to provide outstanding dental therapy and hygiene care to patients within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
As the Oral Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:
Deliver approved oral health promotion and preventative programs, which are consistent with NSW oral health promotion framework and goals of the district
Communicate with patients/carers ensuring consistent care and maximised health outcomes
Utilise clinical tools, equipment and applications to ensure that the care provided is of an adequate professional standard

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Current AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in evidence-based Oral Health Therapy with a commitment to preventative and population health approaches to patient care.
Ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and communities.
Proficiency in clinical software, electronic patient records, digital imaging, and general computer systems.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Willingness to travel, including long-distance driving and overnight stays, with a current Class C driver’s licence.
