The Role
True Colours Clinic is a Trans and Gender Diverse (TGD) health service for people aged 16-25 and is one of the services developed to provide gender affirming care in NSW. True Colours is a holistic, multidisciplinary clinic and providing person centered, safe, quality, and inclusive gender affirming care and treatment to the TGD and gender questioning population aged 16-25 years of age. The clinic works alongside community and consumers to provide safe, affirming and affordable person-centered inclusive care. True Colours will provide a high-quality clinical service to clients/consumers and their families/carers to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
This position works in a multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, nurses and allied health to address the complex medical and psychosocial needs of clients, providing expert medical assessment and management of TGD and gender questioning young people.
Reporting to the Manager of the Manager of the Statewide and Clinical Support Service, SHBBV Services, the Operations Manager True Colours Clinic will provide leadership, operational and strategic management to the multidisciplinary team, coordinating the True Colours Clinic and providing governance and oversight.

Selection Criteria:
- Degree in relevant health related field or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the issues and needs of priority populations attending a youth trans health service.
- Demonstrated ability and relevant experience in supervision, leadership and management and ability to ensure appropriate clinical governance within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and sustain effective internal and external partnerships with a range of service providers.
- Demonstrated experience in analysis, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of strategic and operational planning.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
