About the role:

Join our Perioperative Services team as an Operating Room Assistant and play a vital role in supporting safe, high-quality patient care within the operating theatre environment. In this hands-on role, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth, timely and effective preparation and operation of theatre services.

As the Operating Room Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Transportation of patients

  • Preparing operating theatres as per theatre schedules

  • Preparation and position of patient

  • Cleaning of operating suite as per guidelines

  • Maintain compliance with appropriate theatre apparel as required and as per ACORN Standards

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary perioperative services team
