About the role:
Join our Perioperative Services team as an Operating Room Assistant and play a vital role in supporting safe, high-quality patient care within the operating theatre environment. In this hands-on role, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth, timely and effective preparation and operation of theatre services.
As the Operating Room Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Transportation of patients
Preparing operating theatres as per theatre schedules
Preparation and position of patient
Cleaning of operating suite as per guidelines
Maintain compliance with appropriate theatre apparel as required and as per ACORN Standards
Work as part of a multidisciplinary perioperative services team
