Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist and current NSW Driver’s Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Drug and Alcohol Occupational Therapy.
- Extensive experience and demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to apply and share expert Drug and Alcohol knowledge with colleagues and other health professionals to enhance service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to identify opportunities and innovatively lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery incorporating continuous improvement, evidence based practice and research.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students.
- Demonstrated high level organisational, prioritisation and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical/administrative demands.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation.
