Liverpool Hospital Operating Theatres is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic senior Registered Nurse who would like the opportunity to work as the Nursing Unit Manager Level 1 – Clinical Co-ordinator. This position allows for significant involvement in leading a dynamic and innovative multidisciplinary team. The Nursing Unit Manager Operating Theatres will provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth running’s of the Operating Theatre. This position relies on effective communication between all stakeholders of the Perioperative Services and Liverpool Hospital executive. Ongoing reviews and monitoring of the Theatre lists and emergency lists to ensure that KPI’s are being met. Operational processes and clinical outcomes are an inherent responsibility of this position. 
 

Are You the Right Fit? 
You are an experienced senior nurse with a strong background in the Operating Theatre. You’re confident in leading and coordinating theatre teams, approachable in your leadership style, and highly organised in your approach to patient care and clinical operations.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a Perioperative setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders in a team environment.
  • Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Surginet, eMR, PAS, and PowerChart.
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A professional approach with the ability to manage and resolve conflict.
