An exciting opportunity has come up for clinician interested in leading a dynamic, research focused Child and Youth Inpatient Unit as the NUM level 3. Brolga is part of the Child and Youth Mental Health Service at Northern Sydney Local Health District. The position is part of a supportive CYMHS executive team and sits on various committee for strategic planning of the service giving the candidate great opportunities for leadership growth and development.

Brolga is situated at Hornsby Hospital site.
The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) will manage a unit or ward in order to provide a quality standard of care to NSLHD Patients.
- Registered Nurse-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) AND Relevant management tertiary qualification OR equivalent work experience, OR a combination of study and work experience; and demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in child and adolescent mental health care, including the provision of evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Attachment-Based Therapy, Family Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, together with the ability to lead, manage and support a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Demonstrated experience in leading change and implementing new service delivery models within established services, supported by a strong understanding of adolescent inpatient mental health models of care.
