About the Role
The Sydney Education is the education and training service for Sydney Local Health District (SLHD). Sydney Education offers over 300 courses per year and has a comprehensive range of both clinical and non-clinical courses and programs using technology to improve access to professional development and to provide high fidelity learning environments. We are a delivery site of the NSW Health RTO which means that we can offer our staff Nationally Recognised qualifications.
We are seeking a dynamic Nurse/Midwife Educator to support the delivery of our Diploma of Nursing program. You will design, facilitate and evaluate engaging learning experiences, provide coaching and mentorship to students and staff, and contribute to innovative education and service improvement initiatives. Ideal Candidate
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as Registered Nurse/Midwife and relevant post registration nursing/midwifery clinical or education qualifications or qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of nursing education and VET requirements, possess exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, and have experience leading, supporting and developing others in a healthcare learning environment.
- Has previous experience in a supervisory or senior position that included the provision of workplace coaching, feedback and support.
