Nurse Manager Perioperative Services

1. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
2. Extensive recent post registration perioperative clinical and middle management experience and demonstrated commitment to own professional development relevant to health management, including recognised qualifications and/or appropriate management experience.
3. Proven leadership and management skills with demonstrated ability to lead manage and support a clinical team utilising knowledge of current nursing issues relating to Perioperative nursing.
4. Evidence of and commitment to patient/customer focussed care, clinical governance and quality improvement.
5. Demonstrated ability to initiate and implement changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes using models of care, evidence based practice and practice development.
6. Demonstrated experience in budget development and monitoring financial performance.
7. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in Microsoft Applications and roster management systems.
