We are seeking an exceptional Nurse Manager to lead our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. A dynamic and highly specialised unit delivering critical care to some of the state’s most complex and vulnerable patients.

What you'll be doing
The Nurse Manager will develop the potential of staff, identify develop and facilitate a range of strategies to ensure nursing staff have the knowledge and skills required to undertake their roles.
The Nurse Manager will undertake planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of performance within the portfolio for individual staff and the team.
The Nurse Manager will utilise a range of communication strategies to foster shared decision making, responsibility and accountability.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Relevant postgraduate tertiary qualifications and nursing leadership and management experience
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively as part of a senior management team and to collaborate with other health professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services
