NNSWLHD Staff Specialist General Paediatrician - Child Protection Lead (Temporary Part Time) - Lismore Base Hospital (Apply via eCredential)

1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Paediatrician, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
2. Demonstrated recent clinical experience in General Paediatrics and Neonatal Medicine at the role delineation of the service.
3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
4. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
5. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
6. Demonstrated recent clinical experience with child and adolescent medicine including eating disorders, childhood obesity, childhood & adolescent mental health, as well as children with complex care requirements.
7. Demonstrated recent clinical experience with child protection issues and evidence of completion of relevant training.
8. Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment and availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
