What you'll be doing
Clinically screen newborn babies in the first days of life for hearing loss prior to their discharge home using Automated Auditory Brainstem Response (AABR) testing with AABR machinery.

We’re seeking a flexible, dependable team member to work weekdays and weekends (as rostered) across WSLHD sites. Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team and confident in following newborn screening policies and practice and maintaining high - quality documentation.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Experience in working with mothers and newborns.

  2. Positive and enthusiastic manner and able to work independently under direction and seeks guidance and supervision as required
  3. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.
  4. Ability to read and write English to an acceptable standard with clear and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  5. Ability to work well in a team, enhancing the capability and contribution of the team.
  6. Demonstrated high level computer skills such as IPM & EMR
  7. Valid NSW Drivers Licence
