Bring your skills. Bring your empathy. Make a difference
Are you an organised, compassionate and professional administrator who enjoys being part of a team that supports people through challenging times?
You will join a multidisciplinary team of social workers, psychologists and counsellors, including both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal staff. Together, we walk alongside people who have experienced, or are at risk of, violence, abuse and neglect - offering safety, support and trauma-informed care. We are proud of the work we do, and we know it takes a whole team to do it well. That’s where you come in.
This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while being part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
About the role
As an Administration Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the service and helping our team deliver high-quality, client-focused care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering calls from clients, service providers and community members, providing a welcoming and respectful first point of contact.
- Supporting staff with rosters, meeting scheduling, minute taking and procurement.
- Assisting with the management of the facility, including contributing to WHS safety audits.

- Maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.
- Providing general administrative support to the multidisciplinary team.
The position reports to the Service Manager, Children and Young People Sexual Safety Services.
About you
We are looking for someone who combines strong organisational skills with genuine empathy and professionalism.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, respect and a client-focused approach.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Reliability and attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- A strong understanding of confidentiality and the importance of handling sensitive information appropriately.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of service-specific systems, policies and procedures can be developed on the job. What matters most is who you are; your communication skills, professionalism, reliability and ability to build trust.
You will have:
- A relevant administrative qualification and/or equivalent administrative experience.
- A current NSW driver licence and the ability to drive for work purposes.
Support and development
We understand that starting a new role can be a big step. You will receive a structured orientation and induction to support your transition into the service, including training in local systems, processes, policies and procedures.
You will also complete all mandatory and role-specific training requirements and receive regular supervision and support from your manager, with ongoing learning and development opportunities identified throughout your employment.
Your administrative skills will help create a safe, respectful and effective service for clients, families, community members and the professionals who support them.
