Salary per week:

Registered Nurse: $1,342.50 - $1,884.90

Allied Health Professional Level 1/2: $1,359.64 - $1,939.70

Psychologist: $1,432.43 - $2,096.59

Northern Beaches Assertive Outreach Team (NBAOT) at Brookvale Community Health Centre

What you'll be doing

The mental health clinician will deliver a high quality, comprehensive mental health service for adults experiencing serious and enduring mental health difficulties. The role involves managing a defined caseload with a focus on working with individuals  who experience a complex range of needs and difficulties. Acting as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, the mental health clinician will provide assessment and evidence based interventions using a collaborative, recovery approach and will be skilled at positive risk management. Working closely in collaboration with carers and families, and liaison with a wide range of agencies is central to the role.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or eligibility for membership with AASW.
  2. Demonstrated ability of putting people who experience mental health issues first and at the centre of practice and service delivery.
  3. Current NSW Drivers Licence.
