Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is seeking a highly capable Redevelopment Asset Project Manager to lead the asset management components of major redevelopment projects. This is a critical role ensuring new and upgraded health facilities are safe, compliant, and fully operational at handover.
About the role
As the Redevelopment Asset Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of asset-related activities across redevelopment projects. You will play a key role in ensuring operational readiness, data accuracy, and long-term asset performance aligned with the NSW Health Asset Management Framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate asset management activities throughout commissioning and delivery phases
- Lead collection, verification and integration of asset data into relevant systems
- Ensure facilities are fully prepared, compliant and functional at handover
- Oversee defect management and support during the Defects Liability Period
- Provide technical advice on infrastructure performance, compliance and lifecycle management
- Support sustainability initiatives, including energy and water management strategies
- Act as a key liaison between Health Infrastructure, appropriate contractors, Project Managers and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to procurement processes and minor works delivery
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in asset management, infrastructure, or capital works project delivery
- Strong understanding of building systems, compliance requirements and Australian Standards
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, designs and asset data
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills, including effective use of Microsoft Office products
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capability
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes under pressure
