What you'll be doing
Western Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Services seeks a dedicated Registered Nurses to provide person-centred, recovery-focused care for people with severe and persistent mental illness.
Deliver assessment, triage, interventions and care planning
Work collaboratively with consumers, carers and agencies
Support recovery through advocacy and service coordination
Participate in quality improvement and service development
Engage in professional supervision and ongoing education

Essential Criteria:
Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse
Registration: Demonstrated full registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
Computer competence and literacy including the use of database systems.
Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
