What you'll be doing
As a Medical Diagnostic Radiographer Level 3 Grade 1, you will provide high-quality specialised mammographic services while supporting excellence in patient care, safety and clinical education. You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate breast imaging services that contribute to early detection and positive patient outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing high-quality mammographic examinations and procedures
Maintaining mammography QA standards and equipment performance
Providing compassionate, patient-focused care and reassurance
Supporting education, mentoring and clinical development of staff
Participating in rotating rosters and outreach screening services

You will bring:
Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
Clinical Proficiency in Mammography Certificate (CPM/CCPM)
Current NSW EPA Radiation Licence IA14
Strong knowledge of BreastScreen Australia standards and QA processes
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
Registration: Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
License: NSW Environment Protection Agency EPA Radiation Licence IA14
Selection Criteria:
Possession of Clinical Proficiency in Mammography Certificate (CPM), is registered with AHPRA and has current NSW Radiation Licence
Provide high quality Breast Imaging service that is patient focused, according to the objectives and policies of the BCI
High level customer service skills, and effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative
Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues, problem solving and formulating new approaches
Working knowledge of mammography equipment and knowledge of BreastScreen Australia Program and the National Accreditation Standards
